BIO

My mom Lula Wilson, a bold, big-hearted, passionate, and dedicated educator, artist, writer, and mother of six children remains unstoppable. She left this earth on March 21, 2014 and left behind her legacy. She always prioritized business, education, and self-improvement. She graduated with an associate’s degree from Prince George’s Community College, a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland College Park, and was only five classes away from earning her master’s degree from Strayer University. A humanist at her core, she wanted to write and spread the love that she had for people. That led her to start her company Lula Bug’s Publishing. Additionally, her passion for children motivated her to publish her first book “Honey Bear’s Lunchroom Surprise.” This book inspires kindness and life lessons to which both children and adults can relate. She was a woman of grace and forward thinking. Everyone who knew her misses her. I intend to continue her legacy and life’s purpose by sharing her work in a time when kindness and compassion are much needed.
